Designerpaint Trading Terms
Welcome to Designerpaint ltd ("We", "Us" or "Designerpaint"). Please note that You, ("You" and "Your") as a purchaser of Products made available through Designerpaint ("Products") and Your use of products provided by Designerpaint is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms").

Purchase of Products
You must be 18 years of age to purchase Products from Designerpaint. Please read these Terms carefully prior to indicating Your acceptance. When You have understood the Terms, please complete the registration and order the Products.

Payment
Payment may be made by any of the means stated. Orders are accepted on the condition that Products will be supplied at the price ruling on despatch. Designerpaint uses VeriSign SSL encryption technology to scramble your sensitive data and provide maximum security over the internet.

Delivery
A carriage and packing charge of £4.95 (inc. VAT) applies to all orders. Delivery is available to UK mainland only and usually within 5 working days. If any Products are out of stock You will be notified at the earliest opportunity. Delivery will normally be by post or courier. All Products must be paid for prior to delivery. Risk shall pass on delivery. If there is any short delivery or damage to goods in transit, this should be notified to Designerpaint by You with full particulars within three working days of delivery. We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering the Products, however arising. Designerpaint does not offer an export service.

Satisfaction Guarantee and Returns
If You are not completely satisfied with Your Designerpaint Product You may return the following brands at your cost in the same condition as despatched within seven working days: Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth, Kelly Hoppen, Ecolibrium, Jeff Banks, Dulux PaintPod, Earthborn, Naturepaint, Graham & Brown, Barbara Hulanicki and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. In addition, for up to 28 days after purchase goods may be returned provided that they are in the same condition as stated above together with the sales ticket for a refund subject to a 20% re-stocking charge. This does not affect your statutory rights, see below. All other brands are specially tinted for you and therefore non-returnable.

If You wish to return Products, please send Us an e-mail to Designerpaint Customer Service at: returns@designerpaint.co.uk. Please state Your docket number, date of purchase, the reason for returning the Product and whether You would like a refund or a replacement Product.

If You are returning any Products, please send them to: Designerpaint, C Brewer & Sons Ltd, Maple Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN23 6NY. This is our address for returns and any other communication. If the Product is defective in any way or has a fault, a full replacement or refund will be made at no charge. Please note that most of these paints are mixed specially to order and there can be slight variations between tins. For covering large areas requiring more than one tin We recommend mixing tins.

Warranties
You may have additional rights under warranties supplied by the manufacturer of the Products You order. Please contact Us or the manufacturer if You require further information. If Designerpaint discovers that a price was mis-stated or that a Product is out of stock, Designerpaint will either notify You by e-mail or give You the option of voiding the sale.

Health and Safety
Designerpaint makes available in good faith information about its Products and with regard to the conditions necessary to ensure that Products supplied will be safe and without risk to health when used properly. Any information and advice given should not of itself be considered an adequate risk assessment as may be required under Health and Safety legislation. If You are not already in possession of information concerning the safe use of the Products or You become aware of any risk to health and safety, You should contact Us.

Sale of Goods
All Products are believed by Designerpaint to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. Any defect should be reported to Designerpaint immediately it is discovered. All technical information in response to enquiry is given by Designerpaint in good faith. It will ultimately be for You to satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the product having regard to Your own particular situation and upon site conditions that are unknown to Designerpaint. The liability of Designerpaint will not exceed the value of the Products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.

General
Your purchase of Products from Designerpaint will be a contract made in England and under English Law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damage and accordingly some limitations here stated may not apply to You. Your rights are unaffected. Designerpaint can revise these Terms without notice by posting new Terms on the Designerpaint site or by notifying You by e-mail. Further purchase of Products after such posting or notification constitutes Your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Competitions and Prize Draws
Entry to competitions and prize draws excludes all employees of C. Brewer & Sons Ltd, their families, agencies or anyone professionally connected with the competition. No cash alternative will be available. Details of individual competitions are listed in our news & features section.
