I am always strongly influenced in my design work by the serenity of eastern philosophies and in developing these paints I always kept in mind their ideas of balanced contrast and poise. Personally I love to use these colours to give a room the right feeling of unity and peace which I would then emphasize by placing carefully chosen pieces of contrasting textures and highlight colours against that quieter palette. I like to think of these colours as a thread that can help to bind and balance whatever decorative elements and objects might be arranged within any room where they are used."
